Esta coleción es parte de la conmemoración de los más de 30 años de La Pieza Oscura, compañía teatral chilena de la que Marcelo Leonart y Nona Fernández han sido su núcleo.
Sobre la obra:
Santiago de Chile. 1976. En una casona de Lo Curro un grupo de escritores inéditos se reúnen bajo la cálida hospitalidad de la Marita, flamante ganadora del Concurso de Cuentos de El Mercurio. La llegada de un nuevo tallerista —el enigmático Mauricio— que quiere escribir sobre el atentado al general Carlos Prats en Buenos Aires, pone en alerta a la talentosa escritora, la que hará lo posible por proteger, hasta las últimas consecuencias, la esquizofrénica doble vida que lleva. Porque Marita en realidad es, junto a su marido gringo, el Tomy, una agente encubierta de la DINA con más de un macabro secreto que esconder.

Fotografía que, en palabras de Nicolás, sintetiza el espíritu del trabajo y la obra. Corresponde a la sala técnica de DARK 2016, montada en Matucana 100. Esta suele estar detrás del público, pero ellas/os la pusieron detrás del escenario. Se ve a Nicolás sentado en la consola de audio y junto a él a Laurene Lemaitre en la consola de iluminación. Luego está la consola de video y el computador de Pablo Mois. También se ven algunos elementos correspondientes a la escenografía. Lo que le gusta a Nicolás de esta foto es que estaban todas/os arriba del escenario, de manera horizontal, sin nadie que estuviera vigilando de afuera lo que hacían. Esto, para él, fue el centro de la investigación de DARK. En el audio adjunto, explica detalladamente los elementos de la foto y lo que le van evocando.

Este proyecto se enfoca en la exploración de las experiencias de jóvenes que participaron en teatros populares y aficionados durante la dictadura cívico-militar en Chile. A través de la recopilación de material de prensa alternativa, fotografías, gráficas y testimonios, nos sumergimos en los circuitos y agrupaciones que encontraron refugio en parroquias, liceos, poblaciones y otras organizaciones sociales. Estas memorias revelan la riqueza cultural y el valor de la actividad teatral para aquellos que vivieron su adolescencia y juventud en medio de la violencia y el terrorismo de Estado.
