El barrio acoge prácticas artísticas abiertas a la comunidad, teatro en casas, museos, comercio de barrio, oficios tradicionales y expresiones de cultura callejera. En palabras de sus habitantes, se trata de un territorio multicultural, vivo y profundamente diverso. La colección documental Detrás de los Muros reúne materiales que buscan registrar, preservar y compartir lo que ocurre —y ha ocurrido— detrás de las puertas y ventanas de las construcciones que albergan a quienes viven y trabajan en el Barrio Yungay. A través de distintos dispositivos de registro, el proyecto documenta la historia reciente del territorio desde las voces y miradas de sus propios habitantes. Este es un proyecto autogestionado impulsado por Martín Miranda Oyarzún, Vicente Palma Nome y Javiera Brignardello Cornejo. Title A name given to the resource Consulta de opinión "Día de los Patrimonios 2024" en barrio Yungay Description An account of the resource Registros y materiales resultantes de la consulta de opinión realizada en el marco de Detrás de los Muros, para el Día de los Patrimonios 2024. Para ello, se instaló una pizarra en la esquina de las calles Libertad y Compañía, donde vecinas, vecinos y visitantes del barrio respondieron a la pregunta “¿Cómo percibes el barrio Yungay?”. Las respuestas se registraron mediante stickers de distintos colores —azul para habitantes del barrio, amarillo para visitantes, y naranjo y verde para niños y niñas—, que debían ubicarse en uno de los siguientes cuadrantes: comunitario, acogedor, deteriorado o inseguro. Los resultados de la consulta fueron posteriormente sistematizados en un informe.
