El asesinato tuvo lugar en el sector de Avenida 5 de abril con Avenida Las Rejas, en la comuna de Estación Central, Santiago de Chile, cerca de Villa Francia. Tras el asesinato la familia fue acompañada por los vecinos y vecinas del territorio en la búsqueda de justicia.
