Este proyecto se enfoca en la exploración de las experiencias de jóvenes que participaron en teatros populares y aficionados durante la dictadura cívico-militar en Chile. A través de la recopilación de material de prensa alternativa, fotografías, gráficas y testimonios, nos sumergimos en los circuitos y agrupaciones que encontraron refugio en parroquias, liceos, poblaciones y otras organizaciones sociales. Estas memorias revelan la riqueza cultural y el valor de la actividad teatral para aquellos que vivieron su adolescencia y juventud en medio de la violencia y el terrorismo de Estado.

<span>El Teatro del Pueblo (circa 1958-1967), fue una compañía de teatro dedicada a la campaña y agitación política en Chile. Liderada por María Maluenda y compuesta principalmente por estudiantes de la Universidad de Chile que militaban en las Juventudes Comunistas, transmitieron su mensaje de lucha en círculos agrarios y sindicatos del país.</span>

Este proyecto se enfoca en la exploración de las experiencias de jóvenes que participaron en teatros populares y aficionados durante la dictadura cívico-militar en Chile. A través de la recopilación de material de prensa alternativa, fotografías, gráficas y testimonios, nos sumergimos en los circuitos y agrupaciones que encontraron refugio en parroquias, liceos, poblaciones y otras organizaciones sociales. Estas memorias revelan la riqueza cultural y el valor de la actividad teatral para aquellos que vivieron su adolescencia y juventud en medio de la violencia y el terrorismo de Estado.

En la entrevista Marcela relata su experiencia teatral en sus tiempos de liceana en el contexto del Liceo Experimental Manuel de Salas durante la década del ochenta.
